Installation
Fitting McLaren and MC20 Wheel Spacers

Confirm your fitment
McLaren models use 5×112 / 57.1mm. The MC20 uses 5×110 / 65.1mm. Select the correct product before ordering — the specifications are not interchangeable.

Check clearance
McLaren suspension geometry is precise. Before fitting, check arch clearance and suspension clearance at full lock and full droop, particularly with 20mm spacers.

Clean the hub face
Remove any dirt, corrosion or debris. The spacer must sit perfectly flat against the hub for correct hubcentric seating.

Refit the wheel with the supplied extended bolts
Use the extended bolts included in your kit. Torque to the manufacturer's specification using a calibrated torque wrench in a star pattern. Do not use an impact gun for final tightening.

Re-torque after 50–100 miles
Re-check bolt torque after the first drive to confirm the assembly has fully seated and clamping load is maintained.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bolt pattern and centre bore do McLaren models use?
The McLaren models covered here — 540C, 570S, 570GT, 600LT, 650S, 675LT, 720S, 765LT, GT, Artura, MP4-12C and P1 — all use 5×112 with a 57.1mm centre bore. The Maserati MC20 uses a different 5×110 / 65.1mm specification.
Are extended bolts included?
Yes. Every kit includes extended wheel bolts sized to your chosen spacer thickness. No separate bolt purchase required.
What size spacers should I fit to a 720S or 765LT?
15mm is the most popular starting point on the 720S and 765LT. Many owners run 12.5mm front and 15mm rear. 20mm rear can work well but clearance should be checked carefully, especially on cars with track suspension settings.
Do you cover the McLaren Senna, Speedtail or Elva?
Not currently — those models fall outside our standard range. Contact us and we can discuss whether a custom solution is possible.
Are McLaren wheel spacers safe?
Yes, when correctly specified, installed with the correct extended bolts and torqued properly. Hubcentric spacers bored to 57.1mm locate on the hub register — the hub carries lateral load rather than the bolts. Clearance must be checked before fitting, particularly at 20mm.
