Volkswagen Hubcentric Wheel Spacers – 5×112 PCD, 57.1mm Bore | UK Made | Brightstone Engineering
Precision CNC-machined Volkswagen wheel spacers for the Golf, Passat, Tiguan, Polo, Scirocco, T-Roc, Arteon, Touran, ID.3 and ID.4. These hubcentric track widening spacers are engineered in the UK from aerospace-grade 6082-T6 billet aluminium to the exact 5×112 (5x112) PCD and 57.1mm centre bore specification — delivering a measurably wider stance, corrected wheel offset, and a flush fitment that fills the arches without compromise to handling or safety.
Every pair is bored to exactly 57.1mm to engage the hub register precisely, eliminating vibration at source. Supplied with extended M14×1.5 ball-seat wheel bolts matched to Volkswagen's OEM fastener specification.
Available in 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm. Need a custom thickness? contact us.
Important fitment note: These spacers are designed for MQB and MQB-A0 platform Volkswagen vehicles with 5×112 57.1mm hub bore and M14×1.5 ball-seat bolts. Not compatible with older Mk4 Golf and Polo models which use 5×100. Always confirm your PCD and centre bore before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are wheel spacers safe on a Volkswagen Golf or Tiguan?
Yes, provided they are hubcentric, correctly specified, and fitted to the correct torque. A hubcentric spacer engages the hub register directly — the hub carries the load, not the wheel bolts. Our spacers are machined to OEM tolerances and supplied with correctly rated M14×1.5 ball-seat hardware for the application.
Will wheel spacers void my Volkswagen warranty?
Fitting aftermarket components can affect warranty coverage on modified parts, but does not automatically void your entire vehicle warranty under UK consumer law. We recommend informing your Volkswagen dealer before fitting and retaining installation records.
What size wheel spacers should I fit to my VW Golf GTI or R?
12mm gives a subtle correction to wheel offset that keeps the Golf looking close to factory. 15mm is the most popular choice for Mk7 and Mk8 GTI and R owners wanting a more planted, aggressive stance. 20mm suits owners running coilovers or wanting a pronounced flush fitment. 25mm is for those running aftermarket wheels with a higher ET offset than standard.
What size wheel spacers should I fit to my VW Tiguan?
15mm works well on standard ride height Tiguan models for a cleaner, more purposeful stance. 20mm suits owners who want a more aggressive look. 25mm is appropriate if you're running aftermarket wheels with a higher ET than standard.
What is the correct torque for Volkswagen wheel bolts?
120Nm, tightened in a star pattern using a calibrated torque wrench. Always re-check torque after 50–100 miles following installation.
Do I need a wheel alignment after fitting wheel spacers?
Wheel spacers do not alter suspension or steering geometry directly, so a full alignment is not strictly required. However if your car has been lowered or is near the limit of its alignment tolerances, adding track width can push it fractionally out. We recommend a check if the car has been modified.
What is the difference between hubcentric and lug-centric spacers?
A hubcentric spacer has a precision-machined bore matching your hub diameter exactly - 57.1mm in this case — so the hub centres the wheel and carries the lateral load. A lug-centric spacer relies on the wheel bolts to centre the wheel, which can cause vibration and places additional stress on the fasteners over time. All Brightstone spacers are hubcentric.
Will these fit my older Mk4 Golf or Polo?
No. The Mk4 Golf and older Polo models use a 5×100 bolt pattern, not 5×112. These spacers will not fit. Contact us if you need spacers for a 5×100 application.
